CHOOSING AN E-READER: WHAT PLATFORM HAS THE BEST QUALITY CONTENT

While not a scam per se, ebook readers tend to be a big investment for the average hard working person. As an author/publisher, I want to give you some insight into the various platforms. As I tend to make the same royalties no matter where I sell my books, I am giving this to you as unbiased as possible for any person.

KINDLE: The kindle platform is awesome, Amazon has done an amazing job with their reader. It is super easy for an author such as myself to make their books format and display properly on kindle readers. This means you get the look and feel of quality with uniform results from one book to another. As for actual appearances of pages text and images, I have to say Kindle is in the top of it's league.

BARNES & NOBLE: The nook is a bit harder to format a publication for. Pages may not display as the author has intended, and quality varies greatly in the actual appearance of publications. Also, there appear to be fewer titles available on this platform. The devices seem to present publications with a little less quality than the Kindle.

KOBO: As far as I know they are mainly available in Canada. However, Kobo seems to have a smaller market share with fewer titles yet, and publishing titles on their platform is a pain for an author as everything has to be formatted specifically for the Kobo. This means re-typesetting the manuscript and uploading it. It would take quite some work to make sure the pages display as intended by the Author.

There may be other readers, or apps, but Kindle has the largest marketshare, the widest selection of titles, and in my opinion the highest quality of presentation. It just seems more professional all the way around. They even have software to let you view your digital publications youve bought on your laptop or any device running android, linux, or windows.

You deserve the chance to make an informed decision.

SUPPLEMENTS: Real vs Counterfeits, i.e. male enhancement products, etc.

It is the mission of this blog to bring you warnings of every scam encountered or observed that poses a risk or threat to anyone whether financially, or medically.

The chinese are expert at making things. We get low quality goods because they make stuff quickly, and as cheaply as possible for us.This doesn't mean they dont make high quality goods. However, they are masters at forgery and counterfeiting. Not only do they counterfeit rare key date silver dollars, but they are known to make knockoffs of what really are good products, which make them money, but destroy the image of the real product in the process. There are a lot of good products out there that do what they are stated to do, and chances are if any of you have bad experiences with a product that normally has good reviews, it more than likely is a counterfeit.

I only am covering this because A. I firmly believe in natural remedies and their ability to repair any damage or disease without harmful side effects, and B. Judging by how many supplements, especially in the Male Enhancement niche are sold daily, I need to raise some alarms here for which hopefully you avoid health problems from inferior and fake goods. This is not something limited to eBay though. Reputable sellers who have amazing products and service fall victim to shipments of counterfeits. So, they can sell to millions of customers and after a while end up with a few who got a fake batch.

There are a couple major warning signs of a counterfeit supplement:

1. Barcodes may be completely missing from the packaging. The imagery on the package may be pixelated or blurred, not sharp and crisp when compared to an authentic package.

2. If you break open an authentic tablet or examine the contents of a capsule of both a fake and a real one, they generally will look much different when compared side by side. And the risk of a counterfeit is, no guarantee that they are safe for consumption exists and many ill side effects are noted from them and perhaps no benefits at all are derived from taking them.

Keep in mind that before taking any supplement you need to research the ingredients and determine if they are safe for you. A lot of popular supplements do contain potentially harmful ingredients if they are taken in too large of doses. There are a few that do not, but rather than mention any specifically, I encourage you to do your own research that way you are educated about it and can make the right choices for yourself and know why you made them. And always start out with small doses at first to see if you have any adverse reactions, better to suffer a little on a small dose than to have problems with a full size one.
